(949) 979-5799Hardwood and vinyl floors can look dull or cloudy when mopping leaves behind cleaning residue. We do not recommend Swiffer, Fabuloso or Pine-Sol because of the residue film they can leave on the surface. Using too much cleaner or incorrectly diluting a concentrate can make this buildup worse. When residue is the cause, professional cleaning can remove the buildup and reveal the floor’s original sheen. Cleaning will not repair a worn or damaged finish. For ongoing maintenance, we recommend a floor-compatible, neutral-pH cleaner used as directed to help prevent residue buildup.
For hardwood, engineered wood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and water-resistant laminate, we use a low-moisture cleaning process. This combines products selected for the surface with mild agitation, low heat and low pressure.
We do not recommend steam mops for hardwood or engineered wood. The heat and moisture can deteriorate the polyurethane coating or other protective finish. For routine maintenance, we recommend a neutral-pH cleaner suitable for your floor’s finish and a flat mop system. A non-steam floor washer, such as a suitable Tineco model, is another option for sealed floors when permitted by your flooring manufacturer. Follow the machine’s instructions and use its approved cleaning solution.

If you’re not happy with our work, tell us. We’ll make it right immediately. We’ll return to readdress any areas of concern at no additional charge. If there is ever any damage caused by our work, we will repair or replace it. And if you aren’t completely satisfied with our service, we’ll issue a complete refund.
